Malia Port

The relaxing side of Malia, away from the hustle
and bustle of the main town.

The port is peaceful, tranquil and quiet in comparison.

Just 15 mins walk towards the archeological site along the
road that runs parallel to the beach.

With beautiful views over looking the sea and the mountains

There are two lovely restaurants set around the port:

"Seasons" which is open from 10am until 6pm,

serves amazing food and wonderful home made cakes

"Malia Port" which is open from
10am until 10.30pm

It is well know throughout the region for
fresh fish dishes

You can sit and watch the coming and goings

of the port from

small fishing boats to larger pleasure boats

There is also a little white church

set up on a hill

to the left of the port overlooking the sea

where if you come down just before

the sun goes down you will see

some amazing sunsets over the Malia bay

If you are an early bird the sunrises are just as magnificent

There are a few small family owned hotels

around the port and a few houses

which belong to local people.

Its an ideal place for fishing during the day or night

The majority of boat excursion leave from the port
