staff were brill esp kristilee who entertained me after hours (im trying to contact her cos the mob no she gave me is2short she was drunk when she wrote it!
had a wicked time in flares ended up there every night u cant beat the old classics

Of Bar Men! Namely Jono and Jamie... bless em! Thoroughly enjoyed their company inside and outside of work!! :) So much so we are coming back for more... well at least back to Malia to work anyway. Really relaxed atmosphere, great tunes and friendly, bubbly staff - easily the best bar in Malia - we just couldn't stay away all holiday! See you in a months time!!

just to say thank you so much for your help mainly to the staff who helped me when i slit my foot open on some glass. i came in june 2004. thanx to the guy who took me to the medical centre especially, sorry i could not come and say bye before i went home i could not walk down then after what i did. but i am not alot better and can now walk. Shall return next year for another brilliant holiday. Cheerz guys. please email back.

Just a note to say that when we got back to Stansted on the 23rd June and it was raining we all wanted to be back at your bar having a beer and listening to your CHEESY music! Had some good nights in there and nearly was tempted to stay out for the season!! Maybe next year! Keep up the good work! Cracking place and missin it!!

Well, what can I say... Flares wins the the nobel prize for best bar in malia! Not just for the retro styles, wicked music and to-die-for blue lagoon cocktails made by dishy barman who look like duncan from blue to name drop just one.....(oh and the lovely scottish lad who works in the bar outside) but.... the staff are so friendly! They remember who u are and are always willing to slide u a free sambuca to say cheers for the custom! Always good to help you enjoy the night more (but not the next day in 45degrees!) My mate and I went in flares first every night to ensure the night began with a bit of the cheese! Cant wait to see you all again next year. xx

Jamie and the little cute bar man were fantastically funny, (Jamie was a good shag and amusing when losing clothes and riding a moped naked). Cocktails every night, mmm mmm. great music should play more Night Fever though, and more of Brown Eyed Girl. A great night every night, always starting in flares, and often falling out of flares with the drunkeness and stu the door man always picking us up. Bingo wish i shagged you(louise). Wish we were still there. thanx for the memories. X X X X

has any one found my clothes yet it's a blue top and skirt that got lost one night while being rude with one of the bar staff.

By far the best bar in malia! Couldn't keep us Scottish girls away!! The tunes were quality all night, everynight!!! The atmosphere in flares was brill and the staff were quality!!! Fantastic pub, excellent music! Me and the girls from Falkirk wish we were still in Malia. We usually started off in Flares and always went back before the night was out.

Flares has got to be one of the best bars in Malia for a wee jig!! Baggy trousers being one of our favourites!! Especially liked seeing Christopher most nights that was a highlight for me!! Scott was a star for making me nice cocktails so they wouldn't hurt my sore throat!! Still wondering if they actually had any alcohol in them though!! Will most definitely be back next year!!

Flares made my holiday last year!!! you could not fault the place!!! The PR guys outside were really funny and alway made us laugh. We then went side and were greeted with friendly staff who made a point of speakin to you. In alot of bars in malia i thought it was about putin money in the till whereas FLARES was all about havin a good time. ALL in all this is the best place in malia,with great staff and music.This will be first place i go to when i go back this august!

the PR people at flares are awful, we walked past them everydayu for 2 weeks and they still grabbed us and wouldnt leave us alone! we heard 1 of the female PRs call a girl a lying bitch because she said she couldnt go in because she was meeting a friend!

I worked opposite Flares at Peach bar in the 2006 season for a couple of months and always wanted to be working at Flares. It's such a fun bar and all the staff were great.I used to finish work at 4 then go over and have a drink in Flares every night. The music was great and all the staff were such a laugh. I used to love working opposite the Pr's especially as they were all my mates . I'm coming back to Malia in 2007 for a holiday and you can guarantee I will be having at least 1 drink in Flares everynight !!!!!!!

Well looking forward to spending time back at the best bar in malia, cheekies a close second, top dj here who plays classic disco, drinks are good and fast service is always given, not a big venue but great for pulling the older chicks, been coming here for years now and will be here on 25th aug for 14 nights, (ps i'm the big guy from Edinburgh, say hello and the drinks are on me). with the season ticket holders from Edinburgh, can't wait to party................
Staying at the hotel elen ( Libra holidays ) a small hotel with two pools and you are treated not like a guest but a member, hotel is 5 mins stagger from flares and the beach road, perfect and recommend it to one and all,any age group made to feel welcolme by nikos.
