"Come and see Malia Jumpin Style" |

|
Back in the early 90's Jumpin Jaks (Mean Fiddler) used to open in April, and host many nights of pure Irish music, with regular interruptions from power failures, mainly caused by the hot winds that come from Africa in April. With or without power the show went on. People stood on upturned beer crates and did solo versions of all kinds of Irish songs, U2, Christy Moore, The Corrs. The only thing that could have stopped the show was either a lack of Guinness or Peach Schnapps. The names of people that have worked in the Mean Fiddler are endless, but a few that need to be remembered are: Steve (Stav), Matt, Brad and Kristy. All of the old Mean Fiddler staff have now relocated to other bars in Malia but one remains.....(We never use the word LEGEND lightly on this site, but one of Malia's finest, and true legend.. the boss......
Time has moved on and the Mean Fiddler has now become Jumpin Jaks.
