Big Tam looks after his gets well - and a mixture between him and 'yani' - his chef the food is amazin - went there mostly every day drink was flowing - music was ringing - it was absoutley FANTASTIC cant wait till next year see ya soon Tam!

Thomas and staff are fantastic,super steaks and cracking menu, try his fillet steak cooked blue. The pub is just simply GREAT.
ONCE YOU TRY IT YOU WILL WANT MORE .

The atmosphere in this bar is excellent with a warm welcome always awaiting you from Thomas and Sula and their lovely daughter Kathleen. This warmth, together with good beer and plentiful servings of very high quality food is always a high spot in our visits to Malia.

IF your Irish and you will love this place! the food and banter was always great and the service was brilliant ;)

Iam just home last night from crete the whole 18 of us. We couldnt look past nellys for great food, great hospitality and great music haha. Tomas if you read this its the irish boys+girls from Belfast who were over the.. 1st july till the 15th.. you took a few pictures if you could send me them cheers :)

Nellys bar was the best thing about malia, 14 of us all boys went till nellys every day for the fantastic food, proper drink and great craic, steaks i thought were better than home, all the boys loved the effort thomas and his family put in till makin us feel welcome, putting on music we requested and when they knew the boys might be feeling a bit peckish at nite on went the pan and plates of food were set along the bar for us. All and all if ur in malia you cannot miss this place! Keep er lit thomas and remember the 14 boys from co Down, 13 and the 1 that looks like a priest.

I was on a lads holiday with 14 other boys, and this pud was best suited for us, the only unfortunate thing was that we only found this pub on our 4th day. When we arrived at Nelly's Bar we got a warmly welcome which made us feel right at home and not like the other money grabbing pubs where they plague you at the door to come in with their feeble free shots and fish bowls excuse.
One of the main things i liked about Nellys Bar was the food, if you are going to eat in this place i would recommend the steak !its the pure thick juicy stuff just what u would get back at home if not better. We all had great crack drinking away listening to many great Irish songs, and the drink was the good stuff and not watered down crap that you would get on the main strip. The bar man would always get us a drink back in a round and even put us on nibbles of food(free) at night cause the crack was mighty !

Thank you to Thomas and family at Nelly's, me and Eddy had a fantastic time in malia due to your welcome and hospitality. Eddy enjoyed the magners and I loved the wee shots!! The day of the game will not be forgotten apart from the parts where the alcohol took hold ha ha! The food was great and overall we had a fantastic time. We highly recommend your bar to all, take care and God bless xxxxx

Nellys bar is a great place to go for some good irish craic and music. Tom and Kathleen will look after you and Tom is the best chef about.Definitely the best place to go in Malia for a good nite out.
