Me and my mate arrived on the 05/08/06 early sunday morning. Malia itself is about 1 hour drive from the airport which at that time in the morn isnt something that you welcome with open arms. We arrived at the hotel to be welcomed by Manos the hotel manager. He takes your passport but dont worry its just for the hotels protection because if you damage aanything in your room and dont intend to pay then you get no passport until he is paid. When you arrive in Malia it is like a shanty town but you ssoon realise that your hotel is like the ritz. Its sucluded and a 10min walk from the main toown life. The only hotell with grass in Malia! Just be careful for when yyou arrive you will have to pay €30 for a safety deposit box in your room and a further €85 for air coonnditioning this is per week of course so take extra money. Apart from that the hotel is grreat and the staff are fanttastic. So go and have a great time I know that we did. Oh yeah the lads fae Carluke where a bunch of wa****s apart from a couple thanks.
