Well we're just back after two weeks, its in the old town and about a 10/15 minute walk from the strip but thats fine, you don't want to be in the middle of that noise constantly. The staff are lovely, the food is good, the rooms are clean and big, better in the new blocks though which we were. Two things - air con is a bit on the expensive side but you do benefit from having it 80 euros for two weeks. Also if your under 40 they ask for a 50 euro deposit for breakages each person. But I understand that with so many ppl having a lack of respect for things!! There is plenty of loungers and pool area is lovely both during the day and night. I would recommend this to anyone and I've been to Malia twice before, this is by far the best.
