This snack bar only opened in June last year (2004) and is situated on the Malia/Stalis beach road and you can sit and watch the world go by and enjoy a snack or drink. Because it is situated a few hundred yards from the beach it is ideal to come up from the beach and spend some time out of the midday sun, and enjoy excellent greek food and snacks at reasonable prices.
Angelos and Olga run the snack bar and are very friendly, and you may also see Aleco (a rook) perched beside Angelos at the circular bar.
Angelos and Olga also run the Old House Restaurant situated at the top of the Old Town, where they serve traditional greek food and wine.
