"family holiday in malia"
Overall Score:
my family and i have just returned from malia on the 17th of june 2008
my 2 children aged 6 and 4 had a brilliant time in the ELEN HOTEL where NICOS the owner makes everyone feel welcome and relaxed the atmosphere in the hotel is brilliant with a good mixture of families and younger generations all enjoying their holiday.
the food is brilliant and NICOS AND HIS FAMILY plus the staff make you feel welcome all the time.
testiment to the hotel is that a lot of people return year after year making it a friendly environment for all

"Elen Hotel - the GREAT place"
Overall Score:
This is quite simply the best hotel I have visited for the warmth of welcome and stunning memories ( both past and future )I have. Nicos, Yiannis, Manolis and family have ran this hotel for over two decades and they never have changed because they are the most friendliest, genuine and warm people you'll ever meet. The hotel isn't far from the Beach Road or the Sun beach - a great beach which is for everyone ! Pool is fab also and you are never short of towels. However the best thing to do an evening is to sit and unwind next to the pool bar as generally you'll meet fantastic people ( like us Scots, though beware mad scousers...only kidding... ) and enjoy the crack. Also worth a go is the penalty kicks behind the Corner eating place where the owner, Careca, will welcome you , Suzi Q and Kate Moss to have a go at scoring 3 goals for a euro !

But back to the Elen I'm looking forward to my visit next year already as this place is simply the best !
